Welcome DAV Chapter 15

Since this chapters founding more than 75 years ago, the Disabled American Veterans has been dedicated to a single purpose:

Building better lives for America's disabled veterans and their families. This has required DAV leadership and members to respond creatively and flexibly to changing and sometimes unpredictable problems faced by its constituency. Whether disabled veterans have needed a voice on Capitol Hill, a nationwide service program, a transportation network or unique rehabilitation opportunities, DAV has focused its attention and resources to meet those needs.
.....
The current environment presents a unique set of challenges to which DAV must respond. The explosion of the "information superhighway" and developments in computer science will affect virtually every area of DAV's operations, from claims advocacy to fundraising.

So too, the changing needs of an aging veteran population require adaptation by both DAV and the federal government, a government increasingly prone to cost-cutting and led largely by persons with no military experience and little passion for veterans' issues.

Martha Tepker for Higher Office

Every day is a new challenge. Every member of the Disabled American Veterans should do their best to aid out veterans and their families.
I have spent most of my life assisting veterans. I served eight (8) years In the United States Air Force. I worked five (5) years on the benefits side of the Veterans Administration in Kansus City, Missouri.
I transferred to the Dayton VA Medical Center and stayed there until I had to medically retire. The work I do now is the same as then, I do whatever I can to help our veterans and their families. I am the VAVS Representative for the Cincinnati VA Hospital. I also volunteer at the Cincinnati VA Hospital as often as I can. I love helping our veterans. I would like to have your support in moving up to higher office.
Thank You!
